Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026. This policy describes how Funcalls (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our iOS and Android apps and related websites.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — phone number (and country) used to register, plus the account identifier we assign to you.
  • Call & product data — call metadata needed to place and bill calls (for example destination, duration, and credit balance), purchase receipts from Apple or Google, and optional call recordings you choose to keep.
  • Device & push tokens — device platform and push notification tokens so we can send optional notifications you allow.
  • Support messages — content you send to support@funcalls.com or through in-app support.
  • Permissions you grant — microphone (calls / recording), contacts (optional number picking), camera (referenced by the call engine even when video is unused), and notifications.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and improve voice-changing and calling features.
  • Authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
  • Process purchases and maintain your remaining call time.
  • Send transactional or promotional notifications when you opt in.
  • Respond to support requests and investigate service issues.
  • Comply with law and protect the rights and safety of users.

3. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Telephony / VoIP providers that place or carry calls on our behalf.
  • Apple App Store and Google Play for purchase verification.
  • Infrastructure and analytics providers (for example hosting and crash reporting).
  • Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Retention

We keep account and call-related records as long as your account is active and as needed for billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. You may request account deletion through the in-app flow or by contacting support.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your device and account.

6. Children

Funcalls is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the app if you are under that age.

7. Your choices

  • Revoke OS permissions (microphone, contacts, camera, notifications) in Settings.
  • Disable promotional notifications in the app or on your device.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@funcalls.com.

8. International use

We may process information in countries other than where you live. By using Funcalls you understand that information may be transferred to those locations.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
