Does the other person hear my changed voice?
Yes — that’s the point. The voice effect is applied live during the call, so the person you’re calling hears the changed voice in real time. You can switch effects mid-call.
Does the other person need the app too?
No. Funcalls dials regular phone numbers over the internet, and the other side answers a completely normal phone call on any phone.
How much do calls cost?
Calls are paid with credits, and you see each destination’s price per minute before you dial — no surprises. The app is a free download and no subscription is required.
Can I record my calls?
Yes, where local law allows. Recordings are saved to your in-app call log so you can replay, download, or share them. While recording, an audible tone lets both sides know the call is being recorded.
Can I call internationally?
Yes. Funcalls places calls over your phone’s internet connection (Wi-Fi works great), so you can call friends and family abroad at clear per-minute rates.
